Terms of Service

Last updated: October 5, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before installing or using Woonic.

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing the Woonic application ("Application", "Service") from the Shopify App Store or accessing our website at woonic.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not install or use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Woonic provides automated cloud backups, granular item restoration, theme Liquid code diffing, sandbox staging workspaces, and store duplication utilities for Shopify merchants. Backups are stored in encrypted cloud vaults (AWS S3) and accessible via your authenticated Shopify dashboard.

3. Subscription, Free Trial & Billing

All subscriptions, trials, and recurring billing for Woonic are processed securely through Shopify's official Billing API:

  • 7-Day Free Trial: New installations receive a 7-day free trial on selected plans. If you uninstall before the trial concludes, no charges are assessed.
  • Recurring Billing: Subscriptions renew on a 30-day or 365-day cycle billed directly onto your regular Shopify merchant invoice.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time by uninstalling Woonic from your Shopify Admin. Cancellation is effective immediately.

4. Shared Responsibility & Merchant Data

You retain all ownership rights to your store data, product catalog, customer records, and theme files. You acknowledge that Woonic relies on Shopify's GraphQL and REST APIs to access and restore store assets. While Woonic implements industry-standard automated backups, merchants remain responsible for testing restorations and maintaining reasonable operational oversight over third-party app installations.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Woonic and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill resulting from your access to or inability to use the Service.
